The Burren’s ‘Sister Pub’ Is Closing

The Skellig, an Irish pub in Waltham with the same owners as The Burren in Somerville’s Davis Square, is closing, according to a Waltham Newswatch report.

Garcia Brogan’s, a Mexican/Irish pub, is taking The Skellig’s place at 240 Moody St. in Waltham. Garcia Brogan’s already has a location in Lowell.

The Skellig could close by the end of July, according to the report.
