Bear Scouts Build Wetu at Sudbury Historical Society

Here are 5 things to know today in Sudbury.

1. Bear Scouts Den 4, Loring Pack 60 visited the Sudbury Historical Society on Wednesday, October 2nd to build a wetu and fish drying rack for the Society's future museums Native American area. Thanks to all of the great Scouts, Jackson Hild, Oscar Klappenbach, Eli Klappenbach, Finn Fosnot, Frank De Traglia, Wyatt LaRochelle, Erik Lambert, Nick Lentino, Ben Lisa, Evan Silvia, Aidan Downer, helper Mark DeTraglia and honorary den member, Tate Hild.

2. Are you looking for a school where your kids can enjoy life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness as they grow up? The Sudbury Valley School will host an open house on Oct. 26 from 1-4 p.m. Come and meet and talk with current students and their parents, graduates, and staff members. All are welcome. 3. On Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sudbury CRANE (Community Resource Awareness Network) and the Sudbury Police Department will host a drug disposal event at the Sudbury Department of Public Works building located at 275 Old Lancaster Road in Sudbury. This is an opportunity for residents to dispose of unwanted and expired drugs in a responsible manner.
