Boston Marathon Runners Gather at Sudbury Business

Sudbury has a large number of runners taking part in this year's Boston Marathon, and on Wednesday night several of them were in one place as they participated in a meet and greet at T-wisted Frozen Yogurt.

"We thought it would be a nice way to honor them and get the town pumped up," said Ellen Brandt, who helped owner Tom Polcari plan the event, in a preview article on Patch. "It's fun for everyone to say they know people running in the marathon, whether it be a family or community member."

This year's Boston Marathon is scheduled to take place on Monday, April 21.
