2. Massachusetts Department of Public Health officials have confirmed two cases of measles were diagnosed last month at two area hospitals: Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and MetroWest Hospital in Framingham.
Any one showing symptoms and who visited either hospital at the following locations and dates should contact their healthcare provider.MetroWest Hospital Framingham - Emergency Department or Inpatient Services on August 23 or 24, Massachusetts General Hospital Boston - Medical walk-in clinic on August 17 or 19, Emergency Department on August 20, or Inpatient Services on August 20, 21, 22 or 23.According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,measles’ symptoms generally begin seven to 14 days after someone is infected and can include: blotchy rash, fever, cough, runny nose, red, watery eyes (conjunctivitis), feeling run down and achy, and tiny white spots with bluish-white centers found inside the mouth (Koplik’s spots).
3. The Sudbury Board of Selectmen voted on Sept. 3 to approve a special permit to Harold Cutler for the Colonial Fair and Muster and Fifes and Drums to be held at the Wayside Inn on Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

4. Sudbury resident Jane Kline was appointed to the Sudbury Celebrates 375/Sudbury Day Committee during the Selectmen's meeting on Sept. 3.
