GoFundMe Campaign: Sudbury Officer Hurt In Milford Crash

A Sudbury officer received serious injuries last weekend while riding his motorcycle in Milford. This campaign will offset medical bills.

SUDBURY, MA—Sudbury police officer Timothy DaSilva was injured in a motorcycle crash while off duty in Milford last weekend, according to reports.

DaSilva on Sunday, June 10, was driving his motorcyclewhen he swerved to avoid hitting an animal, causing the crash, reports MetroWest Daily news.

A GoFundMe account was set a few days after the accident to help pay for medical bills, as he has a "long recovery and unable to work."

"Tim DaSilva is a hardworking and dedicated local police officer," reads the crowdfunding message. "Tim recently became the proud father of a beautiful baby boy! Tim is a great person, a dedicated officer and is always willing to help anyone."

Of a $20,000 goal, $12,775 had been raised by Sunday.
