ID Theft, Power Outage and More from the Sudbury Police Log

The following information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The following was reported by the Sudbury Police Department on June 12:

  • An Old Lancaster Road resident reported finding unauthorized transactions on her bank account. The resident said she noticed a computer device and other items were purchased. She completed a report.
  • A Maynard Farm Road resident walked into the station to report someone opened a credit card account under his name. The credit company was trying to collect on the outstanding debt.
  • Detectives are investigating a report of sex offenses on Lincoln Road.
  • A local business contacted officers to report a male party was acting strange. Responding officers sent the person on his way.
  • A Great Road resident reported he thought someone had gone through his home. Responding officers reported the house appeared secure but planned to follow up with the resident.
  • A resident walked into the station to report credit card fraud.
  • Officers responded to Old Sudbury Road at 5:25 p.m. for a report of a downed tree that took down wires. Traffic was redirect for about three hours while NSTAR and Verizon crews restored service.
