L-S Celebrates Annual Senior Service Day

270 seniors participated in giving back to their communities.

May 29 was the third annual Senior Service Day when Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School seniors give back to the communities that have given so much to them.

Despite the rain and mud, more than 270 seniors worked in 24 locations, pulling invasive plant species, helping preschoolers with their field day, cleaning horse stalls, assisting senior citizens with technology, weeding fields, planting trees and flowers, painting classrooms, packing classrooms and much more.

The Class of 2013 logged 19,264 community service hours and 13,369 hours over four years, which went beyond the 15-hour graduation requirement.
