L-S Among Best Mass. Schools for SAT Performance

Lincoln-Sudbury came in 12th overall.

The College Board reported that only 43 percent of test takers met the “College and Career Readiness Benchmark” of a composite score of 1550, according to the Boston Globe. 

This score represents a 65 percent probability of a first-year college student earning a GPA of at least B-, reports the College Board, also the maker of the SAT.

In Massachusetts, 228 of the 343 high schools for which the College Board had mean total score data scored lower. Of the reported schools, the median total score was 1490, the Globe reports.

Some Massachusetts high schools, however, excelled on the test, including Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School.
