Marlborough Motorist Cited After Crashing into Sudbury Restaurant

The following information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The Sudbury Police Department responded to a 911 call on May 31 regarding an accident on Boston Post Road.

When officers arrived, they witnessed multiple cars in the parking lot of Bistro 20 had been hit, and the restaurant itself was struck by a motorist, acting Police Chief Scott Nix said.

After responding officers completed an investigation, the motorist, a Marlborough resident, was cited for a marked lanes violation and operating to endanger.

Nix said paperwork was forwarded to the Registry of Motor Vehicles in regards to the motorist's right to operate.

No one was injured in the crash. The Marlborough resident's car was towed from the scene.

  • An officer on patrol on Landham Road witnessed a male party walking just before 3:30 a.m. The male told the officer he just had an argument with his girlfriend and was walking home.
  • Officers responded to Amanda Road for a report of suspicious circumstances. Officers found an after-prom party. Nothing criminal was reported.
