Mother of the Bride Arrested on Assault Charge Against ... the Bride
The following arrest information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
A call to the Sudbury Police Department on Oct. 13 regarding a domestic dispute resulted in the arrest of a Connecticut woman.
According to Lt. Robert Grady, officers responded to The Inn on the Horse Farm on Old Sudbury Road just after 10:30 p.m., where a wedding was taking place.
After officers completed an investigation, Leslie A. Duane, 55, of 282 Noble St., Floor 2 Left, West Haven, Conn., was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery.
Duane allegedly assaulted her daughter, who was the bride in the wedding.
Duane was bailed out the morning of Oct. 14 and was scheduled to be arraigned at Framingham District Court on Oct. 15.
