Motorist Injured After Car Jumps Stone Wall in Sudbury

The following information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The Sudbury Police Department responded to Old Sudbury Road early on June 4 after receiving a 911 call regarding a one-car accident.

According to acting Police Chief Scott Nix, the call was made by the motorist just before 12:30 a.m. who informed the department his car went off the road, jumped a stone wall and became wedged between two trees.

The motorist complained of wrist pain but refused medical attention.

His car was towed from the scene.

In other police news from June 4:

  • A person contacted the Sudbury PD about text messages she received that she felt was in violation of a restraining order from a Maynard resident. Sudbury officers contacted the Maynard PD, asking them to locate the individual and place him in custody. Maynard officers were unable to locate the person.
  • A Stockfarm Road resident reported the garage door of a vacant home was open. Responding officers checked the garage but found nothing criminal.
  • A North Road resident reported he was being harassed by two individuals while he was star gazing through a telescope. Responding officers advised the individuals about behaving properly.
  • An out-of-town resident contacted the Sudbury PD after trying to call the 24-hour CVS. No one answered the phone and the person asked for a well-being check on the business. All was OK. Employees said they had been having phone issues in relation to ongoing construction in the area.
  • A Boston Post Road resident reported his upstairs neighbor was being loud. The neighbor told responding officers he would quiet down.
