Holly Fischer was reported missing by her father on Monday.
UPDATED: 8:35 A.M., JUNE 1:
The Ashe County Sheriff says Fischer's cell phone pinged an area near the Blue Ridge Parkway and NC 16. But, after three days of combing through the rugged terrain, they are calling off their search, wccbcharlotte.com is reporting. "She's always the type of person to get right back to you. The fact that she's been missing for like five days now, since Monday, is devastating to all of us," said Fischer's friend Mike Tookie.
She was last driving a silver 2004 Infiniti FX35 with the North Carolina license plate XYH-6678.
