Sudbury Plans First Earth Day Festival For 2023

A new event for Earth Day 2023 will coincide with the town's usual litter cleanup.

SUDBURY, MA — Sudbury will mark Earth Day in 2023 with a new festival featuring an array of eco-focused activities, as well as the traditional community litter pickup.

The Earth Day fair will feature a farmers market with 10 local vendors, plus activities like learning how to compost and information from groups like the Sudbury Garden Club, Sustainable Sudbury and the town Energy and Sustainability Committee.

There will also be several electric cars and trucks on display that will be open for attendees to explore.

The annual Sudbury roadside cleanup will happen alongside the festival. Before the cleanup, residents can sign up to adopt of a street to clean.

The Sudbury Earth Day festival will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 22 at the Goodnow Library, 21 Concord Road.
