Cluttering Support - Buried in Treasures

Research shows that working through the book “Buried in Treasures” in a structured group is one of the most effective ways to address cluttering behaviors. The Senior Center in conjunction with Marlborough Community Development Corporation will offer ongoing Peer Group Support Meetings on Mondays; May 16 – Sept 12 from 10:00 AM-12 Noon. Peer Group participation is free, the book “Buried in Treasures” costs $20 and is required for participation. Scholarship may be available. 400th Anniversary of Shakespeare

Celebrate ‘the Bard” with a performance from Stephen Collins at the Sudbury Senior Center on Thursday, June 2 at 1:00 PM. Cost is $5.00 at the door, but you must sign up for a seat in advance call the Sudbury Senior Center at (978) 443-3055. Space is limited.

Short Story Discussion Group

Join Lois Leav for discussion of the short story The Dead by James Joyce on Thursday, June 9 and Thursday, June 23, at 1:00 PM at the Sudbury Senior Center. Lois, our fantastic Fit for the Future instructor, and book and story lover will facilitate the discussion about this short story. Perhaps the group will be interested in having an ongoing monthly or weekly short story or book group? Please come to enjoy the discussion and let us know if you are interested in continuing this type of group. We are happy to provide space for this on a regular basis if there is interest! AAA Older Wiser Driver

Driving is a skill that can and should be continually improved. A driver improvement course in the classroom can help you keep your driving knowledge fresh and get the most out of your vehicle, while reducing risk to you, your passengers and others on the road. Although this Senior Driving AAA class contains many driving tips, taking a comprehensive driving improvement course will ensure that you have the most up-to- date driving techniques and understand the latest vehicle technologies. Learn how to hone your driving skills and about new vehicle technology and driving tips for today’s drivers at this two-day course being held at the Sudbury Senior Center on Wednesday, June 22 & Wednesday, June 29. Each 3-hour class will be from 10:00 AM -  1:00 PM. Please call the Sudbury Senior Center to sign up at (978) 443-3055. L-S Give Back Day

Lincoln Sudbury students are available for technical help with cell phones, iPad, iPod, laptops, software (using our computer), or other technical questions. We have two L-S high school students to help with your tech devices for “Give Back Day” on Wednesday, June 1, from 11:00 AM– 1:00 PM.
