Eliza Dushku Takes on the World of Super Heroes

The Watertown native provides the voice for She-Hulk in the latest Marvel animated series.

Eliza Dushku’s latest project debuts on Sunday, Aug. 11, but you won’t see her on screen.

He Watertown native provides the voice for She-Hulk in the new animated series “Hulk & the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.” The show can be seen on Disney XD, a website featuring shows, video games and other features. The show will be on at 11 a.m. on Sunday.

She-Hulk is Hulk’s cousin, who never backs down from a fight, the Marvel website says. She also pilots the group’s heavily armed jump jet.

“It’s exciting for me to be introducing She-Hulk to a new generation of kids who aren’t familiar with the Hulks yet,” Dushku told the Boston Herald’s Inside Track.

Dushku added that she fits the role because of her deep voice and ability to imitate people.

The series is not the first voice-over work for the star of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “The Dollhouse.” She also provided the voice of Catwoman in the animated movie “Batman: Year One” and in a number of video games, according to her IMDB profile.
