• 2 Killed In Watertown Crash: Cops (patch.com) — Watertown residents are reeling after a Tuesday afternoon crash on Bigelow Avenue left two people dead just after they departed a family funeral. Police say five vehicles were towed from the scene near the Deluxe Town Diner, with one appearing to be a Tesla, and church members from Armenian Memorial Church struggled to process the tragedy as details slowly emerged. 
• Charles River Watershed Association Hosting Screening of Dam Removal Documentary at Watertown Library (watertownmanews.com) — A free Jan. 8 screening at the Watertown Free Public Library will spotlight the future of the Watertown Dam and other defunct dams along the Charles River. Residents can watch the new short documentary, hear from state and local experts, and learn how dam decisions could affect flooding, ecology, and river access in Watertown.
• Winners of the Watertown Business Coalition's Holiday Decorating Contest Announced (watertownmanews.com) — Watertown businesses just wrapped up the first Watertown Business Coalition Holiday Decorating Contest, with Cass School of Floral Design taking top honors and three other local favorites also winning.
