WATERTOWN, MA — Happy Monday and welcome to the beginning of the holiday week. It was a partially sunny and cool start to Thanksgiving week, but we can expect things to warm up for turkey day — the only downside is that the holiday might be a rainy one.
In Watertown, the first woman-detective in the police department filed a lawsuit against the town and police union claiming discrimination based on her gender. Kathleen Donohue filed the suit in Middlesex Superior Court last year. The case is now headed to trial.
The 36-page complaint claims she faced a "sexually charged and hostile work environment" that pushed her out of the profession.
