Watertown Police Bust Lawrence Man with Cocaine, Heroin

The arrest came after an investigation by a regional drug task force.

Police caught a Lawrence man with cocaine and heroin as he drove through Watertown. He now faces multiple drug charges.

Juan Gonzalez, 28, was stopped on Fayette Street on Feb. 13 at 3:44 p.m. after an investigation by the Suburban Middlesex County Drug Task Force, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn.

"He was placed under arrest for trafficking cocaine and possession with intent to distrubute heroin," Lawn said.

Gonzalez allegedly had 23 grams of cocaine and 2 grams of heroin on him when police stopped him. He also gave a false name when being booked by Watertown Police, Lawn said.

Juan Gonzalez, 28, of 52 Buswell St. Apt. 2 in Lawrence, was arrested on charges of possession to distribute a Class A drug - heroin, trafficking in cocaine and giving a false name to police, Lawn said.
