Watertown Police Log: Plumbing Company Missing $5K in Parts, Ex-Roomy Steals from Former Home

Aug 2, 1:16 p.m.: Police arrested two people in a domestic incident on Hearn Street, said Watertown Police Sgt. Thomas Grady. Eve Wu, 22, of 7 Hearn St. in Watertown, and Chuan Chang, 21, of 7 Hearn St. were both arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery.

Incidents
July 29, 5:29 p.m.: A Carver Road resident reported an ex-roommate who had been evicted in October was seen in the neighborhood and the resident believes the roommate took a bag containing $400 in loose change, Grady said. Police are seeking a complaint against the suspect.

July 30, 6:10 a.m.: A pane of glass on the door at Bus Stop Variety was cracked. No entry was gained.
July 30, 11:31 a.m.: An employee of a plumbing company on Calvin Road discovered that 14 valve kits had been stolen, worth a total of $5,000, Grady said. They employee believes they went missing between late June and late July.
July 31, 3:42 p.m.: The owner of a 2007 Toyota Camry found that the handle on the driver’s door was vandalized, but entry was not gained, Grady said.
Aug. 2, 11:36 a.m.: A woman had her purse stolen from a shopping cart at Target, Grady said. It contained $50 in cash and credit cards. Police are investigating.
Aug. 2, 12:02 p.m.: A Duff Street resident discovered a basement window had been broken within the past week, Grady said.
