
Watertown’s summer basketball leagues are reaching their climax with the finals of the Papas Elite and the O’Brien Legends leagues.
Game one of the Papas Elite final – which features current and former college players – got started with a 64-49 victory by Donohue’s Kaos Club over the Middlesex Magic on Tuesday night. Game two is Wednesday at 7 p.m. If game three is needed, it will be played Thursday at 8 p.m. (All games are played on the court behind the Watertown Boys & Girls Club.)
The O’Brien League finals are almost set with the Johnston Club wrapping up a semifinal series win over Kaos Club on Tuesday. Finnegan Club and Control Club have each won a game and play the decisive game three on Thursday at 7 p.m.

The O’Brien League finals schedule is: Game 1 - Tuesday, Sept. 3, Game 2 - Thursday, Sept. 5, and Game 3 – Tuesday, Sept. 10 (in needed). All games tip off at 7 p.m.
