Fire Log: Odor of Gas Reported; Car Accidents

(Fire Log for June 25-July 1, 2012) The following information was supplied by the Wayland Fire Department.

The Wayland Fire Department answered 68 calls for assistance during the week of June 11-17, 2012. This is a summary of those incidents, excepting training and regular inspections:

Monday June 25, 2012

12:29 a.m. - Pleasant St, medical assistance needed

12:51 p.m. - 116 Plain Rd, activation of fire alarm system

1:42 p.m. - Main St., medical emergency, one person transported to MWMC Natick

2:42 p.m. - 10 Green Way, fire alarm system work

5:32 p.m. - 128 West Plain St, telephone alarm of fire

7:16 a.m. - Commonwealth Rd, medical emergency, one person transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital

9:32 a.m. - 43 Red Barn Rd, caller reported low hanging wires

10:19 a.m. - Boston Post Rd, motor vehicle accident, one person transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital

11:18 a.m. - Red Barn Rd & 80 Main St, fire alarm system work

1:52 p.m. - Boston Post Rd, medical emergency, one person transported to MWMC Framingham

3:14 p.m. - Commonwealth Rd, motor vehicle accident, one person transported to MWMC Natick

12:44 p.m. - Rich Valley Rd, medical emergency, one person transported to MWMC Framingham

2:43 p.m. - Farrant Rd  Natick, medical emergency, one person transported to MWMC Natick

3:12 p.m. - Hudson Rd Sudbury, medical emergency, one person transported to Emerson Hospital

4:27 p.m. - Main St, motor vehicle accident, no injuries reported

10:25 a.m. - Old Connecticut Path, medical emergency, one person transported to MWMC Framingham

2:16 p.m. - Fire Cut Lane Sudbury, medical emergency, one person transported to MWMC Framingham

3:34 p.m. - Knollwood Lane, assistance needed

9:52 p.m. - Astra, assistance needed

9:41 a.m. - 44 Boston Post Rd, fire alarm system work

10:06  a.m. - 148 Plain Rd, caller reported strong outside odor of natural gas

11:04 a.m. - 14 Grove St, assist with residential lockout

1:37 p.m. - Green Way, medical emergency, one person transported to Emerson Hospital

2:57 p.m. - 1 Curling Lane, unintentional activation of alarm system

3:30 p.m. - 27 Pinebrook Rd, telephone alarm of fire, no problem found

4:57 p.m. - Boston Post Rd Sudbury, medical emergency, one person transported to MWMC Framingham

9:51 p.m. - 1 Curling Lane, false activation of alarm system
