Wayland Pop-Up Book Store Hits Sales Milestone After 3 Months
The store at Bagel Table in the Town Center opened in December with proceeds supporting local students.

WAYLAND, MA — A new pop-up bookshop in Wayland — and the only bookstore in town — has hit a sales milestone after only three months in business.
Fresh Baked Books of the Day, located inside the Bagel Table at the Town Center, passed $3,000 in sales this month after opening in December, according to Wayland Economic Development Committee Chair Rebecca Stanizzi.
Fresh Baked sells a selection of bestselling books, including kids titles and cookbooks, and a portion of proceeds from each sale goes to the Wayland High School robotics team, the Control Freaks. The bookstore will be open through the end of the school year, but will likely pick a different school group or local nonprofit to support in the future.
