Dog and Cat Registration Month, Fee Change in Trenton
Woodhaven officials, in partnership with the Trenton-Woodhaven Animal Shelter, are holding a shot and licensing clinic from 1 to 4:30 p.m. April 20 at Woodhaven City Hall, 21869 West Road.

Council members voted in favor of raising the fee for licensing dogs and cats from $10 to $12 at the Trenton City Council meeting Monday night.
New registration fees are effective immediately.
Trenton officials also voted in favor of changing the month in which residents need to renew their dog and cat licenses from July to January.

People with pet licenses set to expire this year must get them renewed at Trenton City Hall before July 1. Licenses obtained before July 1 will be good until December 2014.

The public is welcome to bring dogs and cats for rabies vaccinations for $10 and a complete vaccination package for $40.
All dogs and cats in Woodhaven and Trenton must be licensed.
