Trenton Residents to Hold 5K for Suicide Awareness

A 5K run and walk will be held in honor of Harrison Volk at 10 a.m. on August 5 at Civic Center Park in Woodhaven.

The gravity of suicide weighs down all of us.

The Freinds of Harrison Folk Organization created a 5K run and walk for suicide awareness in honor of Harrison Volk.

The event, Emotions in Motion: Harrison's Hope, is being held on what would have been Volk's sixteenth birthday. Volk took his own life in July 2011.
