• KCPD: 3 arrests made during 'enforcement operation' to combat shoplifting (kshb.com) — Kansas City police say a targeted enforcement operation by the Metro Patrol Property Crimes Unit led to three arrests after suspects allegedly tried to steal about $250 in merchandise, with two facing multiple felony warrants. The department plans to keep up anti-shoplifting efforts through the holiday season, and residents can share anonymous tips through Greater Kansas City Crime Stoppers.
