MANCHESTER, NH — Mr. Mac’s Macaroni and Cheese in Manchester donated $2,000 to two organizations after its annual October fundraising.

The “Mac Gives Back” event set aside $1 for every Take & Bake order sold in October at the eatery. The initiative has been embraced by employees, guests, and certainly those in New Hampshire in need. During the fundraiser, $2,000 was raised.

The eatery gave $1,000 each on Dec. 5 to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Manchester and the Manchester Police Athletic League.

Mr. Mac’s was founded in 2010 by brother and sister team Patrick Cain and Valerie Anderson. They envisioned building a restaurant “with a foundation of fun, community, and quality,” something that had “certainly come to fruition.” Mr. Mac’s was recently added to the Best Manchester Restaurant in the 603 awards and had also won other awards.

“We are so thankful that we can support our local children with this annual donation,” Anderson said. “It truly makes our entire team so proud.”
