Teen Shot In The Shoulder On Shedd Avenue In Nashua

Nashua police accused Damari Robinson, 19, of shooting the firearm. He is in custody and police are still investigating the incident.

NASHUA, NH — Nashua police are investigating a shooting on Shedds Ave involving two teenagers Wednesday.

Nashua Fire Rescue, AMR ambulance, and Nashua police responded to a report of a teenager suffering from a gunshot wound just after 3 p.m. When they arrived, they found a 15-year-old who had a gunshot wound in the area of his shoulder. A trauma alert was requested at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

Police secured the scene on Shedd Avenue and began investigating. They say they have identified everyone who appears to have been involved in the incident.

According to NPD Sgt. John Cinelli, Damari Robinson, 19, was in custody and accused of shooting the firearm. Specific charges have not been released at this time. The victim is expected to recover from his injuries, which are considered non-life-threatening, according to Cinelli.

Nashua police indicated there is no threat to the public and remained at the scene into the evening.
