Nashua Mother Accused Of Stabbing Son, Assaulting Multiple Officers
Police accused Kimberly Medolo of stabbing a man in the back and assaulting officers when they arrived at the Congress Street apartment.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua woman was accused of stabbing her son and assaulting police officers during an incident at a Congress Street apartment complex Sunday.
Nashua police, fire, and AMR ambulance responded to a report of a stabbing at 33 Congress St. around noon. Officers arrived on the scene and observed Kimberly Medolo, 48, actively fighting with the victim, who sources identified as her son. Officers were able to separate both parties and discovered the victim had been stabbed.
Nashua firefighters and AMR personnel treated the man for a stab wound to the back and requested a trauma alert. The information relayed to the hospital said that an approximately 20-year-old man had been stabbed in the back, and it appeared to have punctured his lung.

While officers were dealing with Medolo, she assaulted an officer, according to Sgt. John Cinelli, the public information officer for Nashua police. While attempting to place Medolo in custody, she resisted their efforts, he said.
Detectives from the Special Investigations Division were notified and furthered the investigation. Detectives conducted interviews with witnesses and the involved parties and were told Medolo had stabbed the victim with a knife and prevented him from leaving the apartment, a report stated.

Based on the investigation, Medolo was charged with first-degree assault-domestic violence, serious bodily injury, criminal restraint–domestic violence, four counts of simple assault, and resisting arrest.
After conducting a voluntary interview, Medolo began fighting with Officers and Detectives, and an additional three counts of simple assault were charged.
Medolo was held on preventative detention and will be arraigned at the 9th Circuit - District Division - Nashua Court on Monday at 1 p.m.
