Nashua Police Investigating Stabbing Involving A Mother And Son
Police, firefighters, and AMR responded to a Congress Street call, where they found a man stabbed in the back and requested a trauma alert.
NASHUA, NH — Nashua police are investigating an alleged stabbing involving a woman who police accused of stabbing her son at a Congress Street apartment Sunday.
Nashua Fire Rescue, AMR, and police were dispatched to 33 Congress St. just before noon for a person who was reportedly stabbed. Responders arrived and were directed to a first-floor apartment where the incident allegedly occurred. A short time later, a second AMR ambulance was requested to respond.
A trauma alert was requested at a local hospital for a man stabbed in the back and a report that his lung had possibly been hit. AMR transported a second person to St. Joseph’s Hospital with unknown injuries.

Nashua police cordoned off an area with a broken slider door to the apartment and were awaiting detectives to process the scene.
Nashua Police Sgt. John Cinelli confirmed police are investigating the stabbing, and at this time, the 48-year-old mother was in custody for allegedly stabbing her son.

The age of the son has not been released, but at this time, police confirmed the son was an adult. The injuries were described as serious but non-life threatening.
All people involved appear to have been identified, and there is no danger to the public.
