BERKELEY, NJ — A young Bayville resident celebrated May the 4th Be With You — a special day for Star Wars fans — by debuting his newly renovated Star Wars-themed bedroom.

Joanne Gerb shared a video tour of the room from her son Caden on Youtube.

Stormtroopers, Yoda and Darth Vader are among the Star Wars characters featured in lifelike murals hand-painted by Toms River artist Jim Houba.

The murals were designed with intricate details from the Star Wars movies, including the view from the Millennium Falcon’s cockpit, Darth Vader marching into battle and Caden’s name painted in Aurebesh, a galactic version of the alphabet.

During the tour, Caden showed off other accessories that bring his room to life, from the TIE Fighter-shaped desk to the hyperspace light switch mounted on the wall.

Caden’s room is complete with an array of different color lightsabers.

This isn’t the first room that Houba transformed for the Gerbs. He also painted a Harry Potter-themed room for Caden’s brother two years ago.
