$3K Raised To Help Somerset Regional Animal Shelter Care For Rescues
The shelter recently took in 55 cats and dogs over the past two weeks and asked the public for help. The generous response was amazing.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — After the Somerset Regional Animal Shetler(SRAS) took in 35 cats and 20 dogs and needed help to care for them, the public responded in a generous way.
"The article just for Sunday and Monday brought in about $3,000," said Shelter Manager Brian Bradshaw of Patch's weekend article highlighting the rescues.
Bradshaw was very thankful for the generous donations to help out the volunteer-based shelter at 100 Commons Way in Bridgewater.

The influx of pets was due to other New Jersey shelters being unable to house or care for these animals so SRAS, a volunteer-run shelter, stepped up to help out.
The shelter, which runs on donations, is always in need of pet food and supplies, and monetary donations.
