From teachers and tutors to bus drivers, cafeteria staff, crossing guards and more, these caring individuals bring steady support and positivity to our schools. To recognize their many contributions — big and small — Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to salute the unsung heroes of back-to-school.

Crossing Guard- Lenore is the face we see before getting to school each and every day. She is always smiling, has a witty remark and is constantly willing to talk NY Rangers and Liverpool FC. She has kept our children safe on the corner of Steeplechase/Country Club for 30 years. If you go to Eisenhower or pass that corner, you know and love Lenore

Lenore has been a Bridgewater, NJ native for 40 years. She has been a dedicated crossing guard for nearly 30 of those years. She has chosen every single year to return because she is dedicated to the children and their families. She is the kindest, funniest and loveliest person to see to start and end your day.
