Beloved Longtime Bridgewater Doctor Anthony Frisoli Dies

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The community if mourning the death of Dr. Anthony Frisoli, a dedicated physician who had a practice in the Martinsville section of Bridgewater since 1989.

Dr. Frisoli died on June 23, 2023, at the age of 69.

"Frisoli founded Martinsville Family Practice in 1989, as a sole practitioner with one nurse, his late-wife Denise. Together and over the years, the Practice grew in size and shape, guided by the hand of Dr. Frisoli’s commitment to humility, compassion, and vigorous work ethic, and became a pillar of the Somerset County community," according to his obituary by Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home.

"With a gentle demeanor and a genuine concern for his patients' well-being, he provided the highest standard of care, earning the trust and gratitude of those under his wing and colleagues alike. Dr. Frisoli's commitment to his craft was evident in the countless lives he touched and the healing he brought to thousands of patients and families," continued the obituary.

He is survived by his loving family, including his children, Christian (Emma), Gregory (Christina), Andrew and Josh(Krista) and one grandchild Josh. Brothers Garry (Ornella) and Sam, brother In law Gary (Suzanne) & Tom, sister in law Carol (Don) and many nephews who he deeply cared for.

His family was a source of immense pride and joy in his life. Additionally, he leaves behind his beloved partner, Bettina Maunz.

He is predeceased by his parents Tiberio and Maria, in-laws Tom and Eileen, sisters in law Marilyn and Rosemary, niece Mary and his beloved wife Denise.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., on June 27 at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 184 South Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital be made in Dr. Anthony Frisoli’s name www.stjude.org .
