The event is being hosted by Bernie's Buddies Cat Rescue.

(Edie Hogan)

BRANCHBURG, NJ — Bernie's Buddies Cat Rescue adoption, run by Bridgewater resident, Edie Hogan, will host another adoption day. This time she is showcasing a number of black cats.

Unfortunately, often black cats are associated with superstitions. However, in many cultures, they bring good luck, wealth, and prosperity.

The event on Saturday, Jan. 28 will be held from noon to 3 p.m. at Barkley's Marketplace, 3150 Route 22 Suite 16, Branchburg.
