Depressed Cat In Desperate Need Of Home At Somerset Regional Animal Shelter

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A senior kitty at Somerset Regional Animal Shelter is in desperate need of a "forever" home.

"Kasey was surrendered to the shelter at 11 years old when his owner fell on hard times. Kasey is in desperate need of a foster home to decompress," Somerset Regional Animal Shelter.

Due to Kasey being special needs because of kidney disease, shelter life is detrimental, said the shelter.

Kasey is currently depressed and unhappy and shelter staff believe a peaceful home will boost his happiness and openness to handling.

Anyone interested in rescuing Kasey is asked to contact the shelter at 908-725-0308 during business hours.

SRAS is a nonprofit organization that services pets in the Somerset County area. The shelter is always in need of donations.

Community members can help the shelter by purchasing supplies from the shelter's Amazon Wishlist or by making a monetary donation visit srasnj.org/donate.

The shelter is open daily from noon to 3:30 p.m. at 100 Commons Way in Bridgewater. No appointment is necessary.
