Easter Bunny Hopping Back To Bridgewater Commons For 2025

On Saturday, April 5, the "Bunny Hop Launch Party" will offer music, face painting, balloon art, stilt walkers and more.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The Easter Bunny will return to Bridgewater Commons’ Center Court to celebrate spring at the "Easter Bunny @ The Commons," presented by Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset, from April 5 to 19.

On Saturday, April 5, the "Bunny Hop Launch Party," in Center Court from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. will offer music, face painting, balloon art, stilt walkers and more.

Wear your bunny ears or pick up some at the party, free of charge. Then visit the Easter Bunny in a colorful springtime flower field for photos, with various packages available for purchase, as well as themed merchandise.

"It’s been a long winter, and the Easter Bunny is a symbol of spring renewal," said Tom Kovacic, Marketing and Business Development Director of Bridgewater Commons. "We’re very excited to continue this much-loved annual tradition."

"We are proud to partner with Bridgewater Commons throughout the year to promote the health of our community through initiatives such as the HealthHike Walking Program, Go Red Fashion Show and Heartchecker blood pressure kiosk," said Deirdre Blaus, Interim Chief Administrative Officer, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset. "We have also sponsored holiday events for several years and are pleased to sponsor the Easter Bunny at the Commons for the first time this year. We hope it creates many happy memories for Central New Jersey families this spring."

The Easter Bunny will be at Center Court:

  • April 5 — 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • April 6 – April 18, Monday – Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • April 19 — 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Reservations for visits with the Easter Bunny are optional Mondays through Thursdays and can be made online at bridgewatercommons.com. Friday through Sunday is first-come, first-served.

Pet Nights

On Wednesday, April 9 and Wednesday, April 16 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., the center will welcome dogs and cats (wearing their finest bunny ears) to meet the Easter Bunny. Make reservations online to receive a keepsake photo with purchase.

Bunny & Disney Princesses

Disney Princesses will join the Bunny for a meet-and-greet, photos and autographs on Saturday, April 12 and Saturday, April 19 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Meet Snow White and Cinderella on April 12 and Moana and Little Mermaid on April 19. Purchases are not required for these free special events.

Hop n’ Hunt Experience

Also new for kids, the center will bring Easter magic to life with a “Hop n’ Hunt”, an interactive Augmented Realty (AR) scavenger egg hunt experience designed to create unforgettable moments. By simply scanning a QR code on the displays on the Easter set and throughout the mall with their own devices, guests can summon a virtual bunny onto their screens, read the clues, and hunt for all of the eggs at the center.

Using motion tracking and real-world positioning, the AR experience moves dynamically with the phone, allowing users to frame the perfect selfie or capture a delightful, animated scene. No apps needed — just scan, pose, and snap! The AR content is optimized for fluid movement, ensuring an easy, immersive experience for users of all ages. Guests who locate all the eggs in the virtual hunt can collect a prize at the Easter photo set and be entered to win a $500 shopping spree giveaway.
