Gallery on Main: April artist of the month

Throughout April, Gallery on Main will feature an exhibition of works by Somerville, New Jersey-based illustrator and sequential artist Dahlia Visconti.

Join Gallery on Main for the opening reception on Saturday, April 5, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Meet the artist, see a selection of her work, and mingle with other artists and art lovers. Admission is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served.

Dahlia Visconti creates art in traditional mediums that focus on narrative, emotion, and atmosphere. Many pieces lean into feelings of eeriness, loneliness, and the surreal. Her favorite indie comics and music frequently serve as inspiration. She has a particular soft spot for making fanart of the manga “One Piece” by Eiichiro Oda.

Dahlia Visconti’s work will be on view, and available for purchase, from April 1 through 30, 2025.
