SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — The Tuesday night storm soaked some sections of Somerset County with more in store for this coming weekend.
Bridgewater logged the most with more than 4.1 inches of rain that fell.

- Somerville - 3.03 inches
- Hillsborough - 2.78 inches
- Watchung - 2.7 inches
- Warren - 2.04 inches
While the area is still drying out, another storm is headed to the area. Rain is expected to fall after 4 p.m. on Friday and pick up overnight into Saturday with thunderstorms.
About 1 to 2 inches of rain is projected to fall in that time frame, according to NWS.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 45. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 28. West wind 5 to 10 mph.
Friday: A chance of rain, mainly after 4 p.m. Increasing clouds, with a high near 50. Light and variable wind becoming southeast 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Friday Night: Rain before 1 a.m., then rain and possibly a thunderstorm between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m., then rain after 4 a.m. Low around 40. Windy, with an east wind 15 to 20 mph increasing to 25 to 30 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.
Saturday: A chance of rain before 7 a.m., then a chance of rain and thunderstorms between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 55. Windy. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 26. Windy.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 36. Breezy.
