SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — Heavy rains soaked Somerset County overnight Tuesday as officials and authorities dealt with flooding and road closures.
Here's how much rain fell in Somerset County overnight, according to the National Weather Service:
- Bridgewater 2.73 inches
- Branchburg 2.45 inches
More rain is forecasted to fall on Wednesday and Thursday.

"Flash flooding concerns will continue over the next 3 days," said US National Weather Service Philadelphia/Mount Holly on Wednesday morning.
