Gallery on Main July Artist of the Month, J. "Jimmy" Ostroski

Join Gallery on Main for the opening reception on Saturday, July 6, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Meet the artist, see a selection of his work, and mingle with other artists and art lovers. Admission is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served.

Gallery on Main's Artist of the Month series features an exhibition of paintings by Branchburg, New Jersey-based artist J. “Jimmy” Otroski from July 1 through 31.

The subject of many of Ostroski’s paintings are local landmarks. A former teacher and construction worker, he says, “health issues have resulted in the cutting back of my hours as a construction/restoration consultant for a large architectural and engineering firm in New York City. However, happily, this has given me the opportunity to pick up the paint brush again, to find my personality as an ARTIST, and to refine my deliberately naïve, put-a-smile-on your-face-painting.”
