Snow Headed To Somerset County: How Much? When Will It Begin?

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — Snow is expected to fall across New Jersey and Somerset County on Monday. Check out the latest forecast from the National Weather Service as of Monday morning.

Snow is expected to fall beginning around 9 a.m. The main portion of snow will fall through 5 p.m.

Total snowfall amounts for Somerset County are predicted to be between 1 and 2 inches. There is a 100 percent chance of precipitation.

Monday will bring temperatures of a high near 32 with a northwest wind around 5 mph becoming north in the afternoon.

On Monday night, residents can expect a chance of snow before 7 p.m. It will be cloudy, then gradually clear toward daybreak, with a low around 17.

A northwest wind of 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph is predicted. A chance of precipitation is 30 percent with new snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 15.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 30.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 21.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 37.
