BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The Somerset Regional Animal Shelter is "overflowing" with adoptable dogs, staff say.
"Our shelter is overflowing with incredible dogs who just want a family to love. If you’ve been thinking about adoption, please come meet your new best friend at Somerset Regional Animal Shelter. Every adoption saves two lives — the pup you take home, and the one who can take their place," wrote Somerset Regional Animal Shelter.
To see the dogs in person, visit the shelter at 100 Commons Way in Bridgewater, which is open daily from noon to 3:30 p.m.

"Please adopt, don’t shop — their forever could start with you," said the shelter.
As a result of the influx of pets, the shelter is in need of donations such as pet food and supplies, and monetary donations.

Community members can contribute by purchasing supplies from the shelter's Amazon Wishlist or to make a monetary donation visit srasnj.org/donate.
