Somerville Café To Host Chilling Horror-Themed Open-Mic Night
Somerville's Ambee Coffee Co. is inviting members of the community and beyond to a special horror-themed open-mic night on Thursday.
SOMERVILLE, NJ — As the spooky season begins, Somerville’s Ambee Coffee Co. is inviting members of the community and beyond to a special horror-themed open-mic night on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m.
Writers, poets and performers are invited to the mic, held in partnership with Fright Lines, to share their most spine-chilling stories, poems and monologues. Whether terrifying or twisted, funny or folkloric, this event welcomes all flavors of fright.
On-site signups begin at 4:30 p.m., and performers will be given up to five minutes to share their work. The event is free to attend, and both seasoned storytellers and first-time readers are encouraged to participate.

Held at Ambee Coffee Co., a warm and inviting local spot that transforms into a den of darkness for the night, the event promises atmosphere, creativity and community with a spooky twist. Seating is limited, and early arrival is recommended.
