Taco & Empanada Festival Benefiting Firefighters Coming To Somerset County

The event will include food trucks, music, beer, a margarita & sangria garden, a zipline, pony rides, a rock wall, a petting zoo, and more.

SOUTH BOUND BROOK, NJ — The inaugural Taco & Empanada Festival is returning to Somerset County this weekend.

Just Jersey & The South Bound Brook Fire Company is presenting the festival at Memorial Park in South Bound Brook on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The family-friendly festival will include gourmet food trucks, music, beer, margarita and sangria garden, vendors, kids activities, pony rides, a rock wall, a petting zoo, face painting, sand art, inflatables, bungee trampoline, mini golf, knockerball, and 50/50.

Beer & Sangria Garden:

  • Lone Eagle Brewing - Flemington Fog, Oktoberfest, Summer Honey, Plucky Sour
  • Señor Sangria - Red & White
  • Margaritas/Daiquiris - regular & strawberry
  • Strawberry Vodka Lemonade

Additionally, there will be a 35-foot high, 250-foot long zipline going through the festival.

Admission is $5 and those under 5 are free. The event is a benefit for the South Bound Brook Fire Company.

Attendees are also asked to bring a non-perishable canned or boxed item to help support the food pantry.
