'Unexpected Evacuation' At Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School
The school district sent out an email to parents about the evacuation on Tuesday.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — An "unexpected evacuation" was reported at the Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School on Tuesday.
A notice was sent out to parents on Tuesday stating a safety evacuation had happened during time block 3 on Tuesday.
"There was no emergency in the building," said the email.

It is unclear what prompted the evacuation. A request to the district for more information was not immediately returned to Patch.
Students and staff have since reentered the school, and classes have resumed.

"We thank all students and staff for their cooperation during this occurrence," said the email.
The Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School is located at 128 Merriwood Road in Bridgewater.
