Cherry Hill East's Bryant Wins Silver to Highlight Track States

Cherry Hill East’s Kyle Bryant took silver in the high jump to highlight 18 athletes from Cherry Hill schools at the state sectional track meets this weekend.

Bryant leaped 6-6—four inches higher than his performance a week ago at sectionals—to claim second, the highest finish of any athlete from East and Camden Catholic.

Several others qualified for the Meet of Champions by finishing in the top six in their events, including East’s Chelsea Campbell (400 hurdles) and Stephen Begnino (javelin) and Camden Catholic’s Kelly McHugh (3,200 meters), Ben Yang (triple jump) and the girls 4x100 relay team.
