Woman Found Dead in Camden, No Cause of Death Yet, Police Say

A woman was found dead in Camden’s Bergen Square neighborhood Tuesday afternoon, and officers are trying to determine a cause of death, Camden County Police said.

There were no obvious signs of assault on the woman’s body, which was found in a vacant lot near 8th and Cherry Street around 2:45 p.m., police said.

Neither the woman’s name nor any other identifying information were released by police Tuesday.
