Man Steals $80K From Car In Clark, Arrested: Police
A New York man was arrested after stealing $80K from a person's parked in Clark back in October, according to police.

CLARK, NJ — Clark Police arrested a man who stole $80K from a person's car back in October, according to an announcement on Tuesday.
After an investigation that spanned several months, Clark Police arrested Julio Chavarro-Bernal of Woodhaven, New York last week. Police said Chavarro-Bernal followed someone who withdrew $80K from a TD Bank in Rahway and subsequently stole the money from the victim's car while it was parked on Doris Way in Clark.
Clark Det. Bruce Mcdonald conducted an extensive investigation, leading to Chavarro-Bernal's arrest. He was charged with third degree burglary, second degree theft by unlawful taking and criminal mischief, a disorderly persons offense.

Chavarro-Bernal was sent to Bergen County Jail on these charges where he currently resides.
