Annual Lunar New Year Celebration In Edison On Saturday
The event will feature cultural performances, free finger food, and other giveaways.
EDISON, NJ — The Township will be hosting a Lunar New Year celebration on Feb. 8 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The event will be held at Thomas Jefferson Middle School.
Attendees can expect a lively atmosphere filled with dance and musical performances that showcase the rich heritage of the Lunar New Year. The highlight of the event will be a stunning outdoor firecracker display. In addition, there will be free finger food and other giveaways for attendees to enjoy throughout the event.

“We are thrilled to once again host our annual Lunar New Year celebration,” Mayor Sam Joshi said. “This event brings our community together to celebrate. We invite everyone to join us for an afternoon filled with entertainment, food, and fun.”

This event is free and open to all members of the public.
Lunar New Year is celebrated by billions of people and is based on the traditional Chinese lunisolar calendar.
