Firefighters Battle 2-Alarm Blaze At Edison's Menlo Park Diner Over Weekend

No one was injured in the fire, Mayor Sam Joshi said.

EDISON, NJ — On Saturday night, local firefighters battled a two-alarm blaze at the popular Menlo Park Diner in Edison.

According to officials, the fire started in the kitchen of the one-story diner around 10:20 p.m. A Nixle alert went out to residents asking them to avoid the area, as crews battled the blaze.

A follow-up alert was sent a little before 2 a.m., informing residents that the fire was knocked down.

The diner is temporarily closed following the fire.
